Head of Journalism
Maya Egger (St. Nicholas Pinheiros) Hi Delegates!
My name is Maya Egger, and I’m a sophomore at St. Nicholas School Pinheiros in São Paulo! I am incredibly honored and thrilled to serve as Head of Journalism for BRAMUN 2026 alongside the amazing Ana Machado and Pedro Rohenkhol. I first joined MUN as a delegate in the Human Rights Council. I never imagined I’d one day be writing this as Head of Press. I used to look up to the leadership team and think, “Wow, how do they do it?”. And now, here I am, grateful and excited, and ready to give my all. MUN has quickly become one of my greatest passions, providing me with unforgettable friendships, memories, and lessons that I’ll carry with me forever. As a head of Press, I want to help delegates find their voice, whether it’s through writing, creativity, or leadership. I hope to create a space filled with laughter, learning, and connection. I’ll do my best to make this BRAMUN experience not just productive, but inspiring. I hope to inspire and guide delegates to achieve their fullest potential while savouring every moment of BRAMUN. Outside of MUN, one of the biggest parts of who I am is my love for music. I play the guitar and have been composing my own songs. Some of my biggest inspirations are Frank Ocean, The Beatles, Dominik Fike, Montell Fish, Rex Orange County, and Fink, artists whose music makes you feel. I also have a soft spot for feel-good romantic comedies; they remind me to slow down and enjoy the little things in life, and they have a big part in forming my identity. I can’t wait to meet all of you and hopefully become friends. If you have any questions, ideas, or just want to chat, feel free to reach me. |
