MEET THE CHAIRS
Head Chair
Eduarda Castilho (ISC) Hello everyone! My name is Eduarda but feel free to refer to me as Duda. I’m from the International School of Curitiba and currently I am a junior, but will be a senior at BRAMUN. I’m very happy to be head chairing the Political Committee of BRAMUN 2025, and beyond excited for this conference. I’ve been doing MUN since the 7th grade and my favorite committees have always been the Political ones. I particularly love to debate PoCo topics and frankly find them much more interesting than any other committee’s subjects.
The first committee I ever chaired was PoCo and it will also be the last. Which is the best way to say farewell to MUN. I adore BRAMUN because it is an experience, it is much more than just a conference. There are so many activities you absolutely cannot miss and Bahia’s beaches are beautiful. The friendships and memories BRAMUN has given me are some of the best. Outside of school and extracurricular activities, you can find me shopping, cooking, listening to music, travelling, and going out with my friends! If you have any doubts whatsoever please feel free to contact myself, Henri, or Francisco! Can’t wait to meet you all! |
Chair
Henri Martin (Chapel) Hello Esteemed Delegates, my name is Henri Martin! I’m 16 years old and am currently a Sophomore at Chapel School. I live in São Paulo and will be a Junior when the conference occurs. I am thrilled and honoured to be chairing in the Political Council for the BRAMUN 2025 Edition! I fell in love with MUN and International Relations a few years ago, where heated debates, diplomacy, crisis events, and being able to chair such amazing delegates has become one of my favourite hobbies. I love to play basketball in my spare time, watching movies, cheering for my football team Palmeiras, and listening to songs (Mainly Hip Hop). I am excited to chair at BRAMUN, since it’s been my goal ever since my first time attending in the 2023 edition. I am thrilled to build exciting friendships with my delegates in a relatively long time span for a conference of 4 days. I simply can’t describe with words how thrilled, anxious, and excited I am for chairing POCO in the 2025 edition. I’m so excited to see you all in this conference, and in the case of any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected]

Francisco Tilley (TBSRJ) Hi delegates! My name is Francisco Tilley, but everyone just calls me Tilley. I'm a freshman at The British School of Rio de Janeiro and I'll be chairing the Political Committee at BraMUN 2025 alongside Eduarda Castilho and Henri Martin. I've only ever been to BraMUN once before, as a delegate, and BraMUN 2025 will be my second time chairing. I've always loved history, not only as a subject in school but also as a hobby. My interest in history is one of the things that led to my interest in MUN, but after my first few conferences, I realised the reason I enjoyed MUN wasn’t only my interest in the topic at hand. It was meeting new people, making friends that you wouldn't even speak to if not during a debate, but who you got to know during coffee breaks and over lunch. Even though BraMUN is fun due to being around your friends at a beach for 4 days, I found it fun also due to the extremely high level of debate, voracity, and energy of almost every delegate there, something you don't see at all MUN conferences. While it is a lot of work preparing for a conference this size, I have not met a single person who has regretted putting time and effort into their work before the conference, and I guarantee none of you will either.
See you soon! Francisco Tilley |
