Hi everyone,
My name is Lorenzo Covre, I’m an 11th grader at St. Paul’s School in São Paulo, and I’m truly excited to be chairing the Security Council alongside my co-chairs in BRAMUN 2026. MUN has been a true passion of mine ever since I first joined in 2023; the experiences and memories it has brought me are truly one of a kind, which makes me feel genuinely honored to be chairing this committee. Aside from MUN, I’m very interested in F1 and a lot of other motorsport series, I play the drums, and I love to travel and see new places whenever I can. As a chair, I can only hope to be as fair and as helpful as possible, all to ensure all delegates have as good an experience as I’ve had with BRAMUN in the past, and that everyone benefits from this time. Hi everyone!
My name is Maria Paula Perdiz Bastos, but I’m mostly known as Mapa. I’m a sophomore at the Pan American School of Bahia, and I’m honored to be, alongside the outstanding Lorenzo Couvre and Artur Busaneli Silva, the Head Chair of the United Nations Security Council. My MUN journey began during my first year of Secondary School, specifically in 6th Grade, when I attended my first conference: MUN Experience — a conference for PASB’s youth students, aiming to introduce aspiring delegates to the world of Model United Nations. During my initial exposure to MUN, I was extremely apprehensive, but the more experience I gained, the stronger my passion for it grew. Even so, it has roused me to pursue a career in International Relations! Apart from being an MUN enthusiast, I’m an attacking midfielder for PASB’s Girls’ Soccer Varsity Team, and I’m overall fond of all types of physical activities; I also love drama. I have performed in a couple of school musicals, with my favorite characters (I have portrayed) being the Genie in Aladdin Jr. and Olaf in Frozen Jr. Additionally, I enjoy playing the guitar, piano, and ukulele during my free time. As chair, I aim to establish a welcoming environment and ensure an academically prosperous debate, while also presenting myself as a reliable guide for delegates. Hi everyone!
My name is Artur Busaneli e Silva, I am a junior at Avenues São Paulo, and I am incredibly excited to serve as the Associate Secretary and co-chair of the Security Council at the BRAMUN conference, alongside the Secretariat team and my co-chairs Maria Paula and Lorenzo! I first joined MUN in 2019 as a delegate, and now have been to over 20 conferences around Brazil! Outside of MUN, I enjoy playing beach and racket sports and listening to music. I hope that we can all engage in fruitful and memorable committee sessions, filled with diplomatic efforts and incredible moments!
