MEET THE CHAIRS
Hi everyone! My name’s Luisa Bravo, I’m a sophomore at TBSRJMUN Urca Site, and I will be serving as Head Chair of Special 4 at BRAMUN 2025! I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, have three dogs and a horse, and love the beach, the sun, and reading, despite not quite having that much time for any of the above. My favourite subjects are English and Arts, and I’m a middle child! My oldest brother is two years older than me and wants to be an engineer, while my younger brother is five years younger and wants to be a football player.
I’ve always been very sportsy, and currently practise football, cheerleading, and showjumping! I’m also learning French and Italian, but can’t really speak either! I have an intense love/hate relationship with arts, especially when I’m working with acrylic paints, though I love linoleum printing. I am very excited to be chairing a special committee at BRAMUN, and look forwards to welcoming you to our committee. I’ve loved special committees for many years now due to its unique openings for creativity and innovation, and have developed, together with Larissa, countless ideas that I can’t wait for you to bring to life! |
Hello Delegates! I am Larissa Marques Neves, a Freshman (Sophomore during the conference) at St.Nicholas Alphaville!! I will be your Co-Chair for Special Committee 4, with Luisa as the head chair. I started my MUN timeline during the pandemic, which was hard. Anyone who did MUn during that time period knows how awkward and superficial it felt. But I believe it was a good basis, since I was able to participate a little during unmoderated caucus', and observe others to pick up a few skills or learn new things. Once I did my first in person conference, I absolutely loved it. I loved; talking to other delegates, reuniting with people I had met before, creating resolutions and being able to answer POI's. I believe MUN is such an impactful extracurricular. Because with a lot of extracurriculars, it just stops at that, its just a bonus on any future applications and nothing more. But MUN is so much more than that, because theres something for everyone in MUN. That's why i'm so excited to be a chair at BRAMUN, I get to help people find what they like, see how much they improve and hopefully keep in contact. I want to give people a comfortable experience where they are open to demonstrate their skills, and grow as people. The first BRAMUN I participated in helped me so much, so now its my turn to assist others.
Feel free to email me with any doubts or concerns!! [email protected] |
